I got the Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome CD today, talked about Tina with Abbey, and just turned on the TV to see that there's a Tina concert on ABC!  KISMET! The Force!  How f--king cool and timely!

I got to see Tina Turner at South Shore Tahoe (first tour after divorce).  She introduced herself as having once been part of a duo.  She opened with The Bitch is Back, closed with Proud Mary, had a full orchestra and 17 dancers on stage.  The show was very hot!

Saw Ike Turner last year at the Russian River Blues Festival.  His new wife and singer was a double for Tina and opened with Nutbush City, Proud Mary and, The Bitch is Back.  He said he loved the same woman for 17 years and she made a movie.  Through Rain, snow, sleet or gloom of night, they just keep on singin.  Have the best day

I saw a clip of the Dick Cavett Show once.  Janis Joplin was his guest.  When Ms. Joplin was asked, who she liked to see when she went out...  Her response, "you probably haven't heard of her yet but, Tina Turner is going to be huge."  Have the best day

Hi

I went to see Tina in Perth W.A and she was amazing, one of the best concert I have seen..I wish I had her energy.
