Hello everyone,I am a 25 year old male. I had a unprotected encounter in November 28 of 2010. I know it was stupid but i was going through a divorce so i wasnt thinking right. It was a breif encounter it lasted about 10 minutes and it was a little oral and then mostly anal. She only wanted anal and i got nervous so it didnt last long. i wiped my penis completely after i was done and went home and took a shower. so heres my tests results

January 10,2011: 43 days after possible exposure tested negative using oraquick with blood sample at a clinic
febuary 7, 2011: 10 weeks after possible exposure, tested negative using oraquick with oral sample
march 28, 2011: 17 weeks after possible exposure, tested negative using oraquick with oral sample.

these tests were all done at the clinic. do i have anything to worry about? this has been tormenting me. im having a hard time concentrating at work or having any fun because this keeps haunting me. Any help or advice will be appreciated. thank you

You do not have HIV,you have nothing to worry about time to move on and have some fun but remember, if you continue to be sexually active take responsibility for your own health and use condoms at all times...NO EXCEPTION.

thank you for responding so quickly, was biting my nails anxiously waiting for a response. I have learned my lesson. because this anxiety is killing me, completely taking my life away. I will be more careful with who i have sex with and will always protect myself. i would always feel good after the tests but a few days after i would start doubting the results

im sorry just another question. how reliable and accurate are the oraquick results?is the 17th week negative really conclusive with just a oraquick test?

The oraquick test is extremely reliable. Your results are conclusive. You are HIV negative.

I would draw your attention to the Welcome Thread which says:

besides medication for organ transplants and chemo and radiation treatments, is there any other possibilities why it would take up to 6 months for it a possible infection to show on a oraquick?

Long term injection drug use. We're talking 20+ years. Presumably you're not a long term injecting drug user.

You are conclusively HIV negative. Your test results are reliable. If you continue to post questioning this conclusive NEGATIVE test result, you will be sin binned for 28 days.

Consider yourself warned.

I was the insertive and when we had penetrating anal sex i had a condom on the whole time. My worry is that before anal sex i was on top of her and we were kissing and my penis and her penis were rubbing against each other, i guess the heads touched a few times and we possibly got precum on each others penis head. we also masturbated our penises together with one hand but we did not cum on each other. Is there a possibility of HIV infection here if we rubbed our penis together and touched heads while there was precum? please help im very worried

What you describe in this situation is frottage. It is ABSOLUTELY not a risk for HIV. Other STDs can be transmitted this way, but NOT HIV.

Not even if pre-cum got onto or into your penis. Not even with mutual masturbation using each other's pre-cum as lube, rubbing penises together.

I urge you, considering your history here, to READ THE LESSONS regarding HIV transmission. There is absolutely NO REASON for you to not know this information now. We have a very extensive LESSONS section which you should have utilized already, and a quick forum search using keywords like "rubbing penis" and "pre-cum" would have answered your questions.

Please educate yourself, so that you may monitor and be responsible for your own sexual health.

I've merged your threads here. In the future please follow our rule and keep any entries you want to make in this same thread.

Once again you are worrying needlessly. Rubbing penises together is not a risk even if there is semen or precum involved. The only confirmed risks for the sexual transmission of HIV are unprotected vaginal and anal intercourse. That's it. So use a condom everytime for either of those activities and you will be well protected.

You do not need to test or worry any further about your latest incident. Get on with your life.

hello again. its been a few months since my last post. But im still very concerned about my last incident. I havent had any sexual encounters since i was with the shemale. yes i wore a condom for when i had anal intercourse but im very concerned about rubbing penises together. some places online said it is a risk. Im afraid if her precum got inside my penis while we rubbed them together.. If i did get precum in my penis how is that not a risk? on march 5 i went for another hiv test, it was a oraquick oral sample and i tested negative. that was at the 4.5 months. i know the window period is 3 months. but are these oral tests really accurate? im sorry but the anxiety is killing me

Frottage is considered safer sex. You can use her semen as lubricant and not be at risk. Under no circumstances are you going to get HIV from frottage.
