Hello!
I hope you are doing well.
I have desisted from writing constantly on this page despite my anguish. However, I have been seriously ill since the fifth week of the incident - that my life has been turned upside down. I have been to the hospital and continue to try and uncover the issues that are afflicting me. All of which started in the fifth week after exposure and were classic and severe ARS symptoms - especially at the onset and for two weeks. I still have back pain and occasional fatigue, albeit less now. Add this to my week five symptoms of intense headaches, joint pain, neuropathy, myalgia etc. and you can understand my struggle. Some of these returned in week 7 to 10.
I have read enough clinical presentation research papers that it is hard to ignore what transpired. I was a perfectly healthy guy until this incident. I would like to  move on with my relationship and work but it is quite challenging with this hovering over my head. My partner has been supportive since the beginning and I would not like to jeopardise her health.
I have done three tests at four weeks, six weeks, and thirteen weeks. The last was last week. All have been blood from the vein with a fourth generation test and the results have been non-reactive. That I have gotten these results has been thanks to Godīs intervention. I have been praying every single day.
We have historically had longer window periods and there is surely a rationale for this beyond just averages and better testing. I have read research papers on seronegative cases in perfectly healthy people, and there are cases on this platform of people who appear to have tested positive after months of being negative.
Beyond immunosuppression and drug use, which did not apply to the above, what would account for antibodies not being detected? What exactly is a conclusive window in a high risk encounter with symptoms: do I need another test at six months? A different kind of test?

Thank you.

It was good catching up with everyone.

Different than usual, some more serious topics.; Long-acting injectable cabotegravir and rilpivirine*, dual therapy, blips, mental health, addiction, processed food & hair cuts.

It's not needed, six weeks is near 99+%

Quote
Test to confirm your HIV status at six weeks post your last potential exposure with a blood-draw (lab) HIV antibody test. The result at this time will rarely change, and retesting at three months is generally not needed.

Thank you Jim so a lab hiv test at 6 weeks is conclusive , no need to restest at 12 weeks like the old days .

You had zero HIV risk from getting a blowjob. Your symptoms have nothing to do with HIV.

Your HIV risk was condomless intercourse, test to confirm your HIV status at six weeks post this event with a blood-draw (lab) HIV antibody test and move on with your life.
