Says the person who hasn't even set up his voicemail yet...lol   :)

I'm definitely not smart enough for a smart phone.  Heck, I just started using text messaging.

I saw this some months ago, I didn't want to run it on my phone because it drained the battery too quickly (and im not going to leave it on the charger all day).  I tried running their desktop client but it kept crashing, which is a shame.

I have been running this for many years on two of my home computers with no problems at all.

Thanks for the post Dan, I have been toying with adding the app and have been nervous as to what might happen if I give access.

Hey, just an update I went ahead and signed up with BOINC with my tablet which is an android operating system. I have to say and it may sound odd, but I am getting some kind of satisfaction in a fun way, thinking I am contributing to research in the fight against HIV/AIDS. In the last 24 hours it shows on my tablet that I have accumulated 114 credits (I am not even sure what that means, lol).  :D

During the sign up process I also noticed for MAC user's that you can join as well. I have since added my laptop to the project. If you are a mac user you need to go directly to the World community grid and join, follow prompts for download and you have to choose a project IE. the world community grid. here is there link if anyone is interested.

FYI, for those concerned about the battery use, the program ONLY runs when on your charger, so its not draining your batteries, it immediately suspends work when off your charger.
