My girl has HIV ,she got that from needles while having drugs,we had oral sex 3 weeks back like she gave me a blow job(without condom) and i fingered her for long time,...do you think that i will be affected with this....i m so afraid of this please help me out regarding this.....

Thanks for your kind replay,but  what i m afraid is i had blowjob with out condom...and i came to know that hiv can also be transmitted in this way...so was afraid...please do replay...

I can tell you that in the entire history of the epidemic there has never been a confirmed case of HIV transmission to a guy via his getting a blowjob. And you are not going to make history by becoming the first.

Play safe, stay safe, condoms at all times....NO EXCEPTIONS.

The only confirmed risks for the sexual transmission of HIV are unprotected vaginal and anal intercourse. As long as you and your gf consistently use condoms for those activities, you will be well protected against HIV.

As Jan and others have said, getting a blowjob is absolutely no risk for the transmission of HIV.

I am an hiv positive woman. I was in a relationship with an hiv negative man for over eight years. He remained hiv negative and is hiv negative to this day.

All we did to protect his hiv negative status was to use condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, correctly and consistently. Condoms have been proven to prevent hiv infection. There have been long-term studies of couples where one is positive and one is negative. In the couples who used condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, but no barrier for oral activities, not one of the negative partners became infected with hiv. Not one.

Read through the condom and lube links in my signature line so you can use them correctly and with confidence.

Use condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse and you will avoid hiv infection. IT REALLY IS THAT SIMPLE!!!

Andy & Ann....thanks a lot this makes me fell some what better..but please bear me i have very less information abt aids i have got doubts as my girl is HIV positive

1)i have gone through Wikipedia & youtube,i have came to know that oral sex such as blowjob without condom can also be affected with HIV...how far true is that...r there any chances of getting STI & STD as i had blowjob n figuring with no condom

2)does finguring her and kissing her deep tongue on tongue hard get infected

3)she wants to have sex with me...as she is HIV i m afraid to get affected even if i use condoms...how safe is that ...can i go for sex or not....

The ONLY confirmed risks for the sexual transmission of HIV are unprotected vaginal and anal intercourse. As long as you consistently use condoms  for those activities you will be well and effectively protected against HIV sexually.

Kissing of any sort is not a risk. And receiving a blowjob is absolutely not a risk either.

It's nto complicated to protect yourself. Use condoms consistently and you will be ok. No exceptions. Many, many thousands of sero-discordant couples are using condoms to protect the sero-negative partner and doing very successfully at it. You two can as well.

As your latest concern, when you start surfing the net you will endlessly find fuel for your worst fears and all to no good purpose.  Neither getting a blowjob (including without a condom) nor kissing are risks for HIV transmission. Zero risk. Period.

Stop with the dram and get on with your life. As long as you consistently use condoms for vaginal and anal intercourse you will be well protected against the sexual transmission of HIV. It really is that simple.

Not only is saliva not infectious, but it also contains over a dozen different proteins and enzymes that damage hiv and render it unable to infect. For this reason kissing is not a risk and neither are blowjobs.

Use condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, correctly and consistently, and you will avoid hiv infection. It really is that simple!!!
