Yeah, blood pressure issues will effect the ability to have and maintain a good erection.  There are other things you could do with your partner to... uh, spice thing up though.  Buy a huge dildo and go to town on your partner.

OK, fine.  But it doesn't sound very good that he's giving you a guilt trip about a physical issue that you have absolutely no control over.  "Doesn't like toys" just doesn't cut it, in that context.  Compromise is the name of the game.

He doesn't like toys so how about something romantic? Some jazz music, slow kissing. A little sucking here, some tongue there. Softly licking and kissing his back while you rub his chest and slowly work your way down. I'm sure feeling every bit of him will excite you. Explore each other. Be creative.

Lots of luck...and have fun!  ;)

I too experience erectile dysfunction which kind of sucks (?) after all the coming out and marching and protesting.  In the end, Caverject will give a dead man an erection.  I tried it and WOW, was like a 17 year old.  Drawbacks (besides injection-which believe me you get over it!) are expense and limited shelf life.  Now, who to use it with?

hey ww,

I swear by Caverject; have used it for over 10 years.   Have had a few 'mishaps' with it too (in years gone by).   You know how they say on TV "If you have an erection lasting for over 4 hrs, seek immediate medical attention".....try 16 hours...... :P

I relate to this...  I have always had high blood pressure and it's gotten really bad in the last couple years.   So, I went on diovan.  I feel SO MUCH BETTER, less stressed and happier.  It's almost like being on antidepressants.  Except....  my sex drive has plummeted.  It's a trade off for me.  I'd rather feel better to be honest.  I just feel sorry for my partner.  It's hard to talk about and I haven't quite figured out how to deal with that part.

My doctor won,t even talk about anything until I get the high blood pressure under control. My other half is negative so he did not understand so I had he come to my doctors appointment then she explained everything to his.So now he has layed off a little which I am thankful.

Caverject is used for erectile dysfunction. Before viagra and cialis there was caverject. Not used much anymore as you have to inject it into your penis to make you get an erection. As you can already guess most patients today would prefer a pill given the options. It's mostly used these days by men who fail to respond to viagra/cialis. However Dwayns' problem is sex drive, if his mind/body isn't into having sex no amount of pills or injections are going to change his predisposition. This looks like a hormonal issue honestly.
