Pretty sure I ended up positive

Hey guys I really need honest advice here!

I had unprotected insertive sex with a random person I met back late April. After the sex I had partially bleeding penis .

Exactly 3 weeks afterwards I came down with fatigue, rash, and joint pains. It lasted 3 months!

I got tested at 14 weeks with duo test, and just recently with antibody test at 4.5 months.

I have never in my life felt the symptoms I felt after that exposure.. I am currently having reaccuring sore throats ever couple days. And I keep getting these random red bumps popping up all over my body that scab over and take weeks to heal!

I'm dreading the 6 month test which is end of October. Why can it take some people so long to test positive?

Have you seen someone with 4th gen test, test negative then later on come up positive?

My one fear is I think I might of already had weak immune system because I have two swollen lymph nodes that have been here for years, maybe they are preventing me from making antibodys?

The average time to seroconversion is 22 days. Most who are infected will test positive by 6 weeks. For various reasons a small number will take longer and that is why we follow the CDC recommendation to test at 3 months for a conclusive negative result.

You are HIV negative . If you your immune system was damaged enough not to produce antibody's you would be near death , covered with sores and in agony .

You do not have HIV .

I do keep getting the reaccuring red lesions on my body...

Do the lesions I describe sound like somthing you have seen in hiv positive people?

What about my 4th gen test. Is the dna portion pretty accurate? Have you seen false negatives with the 4 th gen. Don't spare my anxiety I need truthful answers!

If you are unwell then you need to see your doctor and find out why . The test you took for HIV are more than adequate and you are conclusively HIV negative . 

If you were at risk or had tested in the wrong window period we would tell you immediately so that you could get medical attention and possible prevent other infections .

You do not have HIV .

I did get caught up reading some of the other forums on here and found an alarming number of people who tested negative but positive later after no new exposures. Here is one of the links http://forums.poz.com/index.php?topic=19298.0

Are all of you guys on here who give out advice on the same page that 100% conclusive after 3 months? I really need some peace here. Couldn't I be one if those people who just take longer to convert?

Unless you are on a certain type of chemo drug or have a debilitating autoimmune disease I'm afraid you are just simply HIV NEGATIVE .   

If you cant bring yourself to accept the fact that you do not have HIV then we cant help you . Go see your doc and tell them you are sick and having irrational fears about HIV .

Seriously , get on with your life , you don't have HIV .

As Jeff has already told you only a small group of people seroconvert after the 13 week window period, this group includes those who are receiving immuno-suppressive therapy after transplant procedures, cancer patients who are receiving chemotherapy and long term injecting drug users.

You tested negative at 14 weeks so you are free to get on with your life...so stop worrying over nothing and enjoy.

If you are feeling unwell talk to your Doc, and keep talking to him until he finds out what is wrong with you, but I can tell you now it isn't HIV.
