Today was a good day.....
« on: November 23, 2006, 07:41:49 pm »
Hello Everyone~~

Just thought I would say that today turned out to be a good day. I went over my friend's house, who always cooks a big dinner. I had 2 plates of food. I usually don't eat that much on any given day unless I smoked some weed which is what we did before we ate and had a smooth glass of Paul Mason with some Sprite. I was so stuffed, I couldn't even zip up my pants. Probably won't be able to for the rest of the evening because I still have a sweet potato pie to get to.

P.S. Cowboys won!!!!!!!

I'm a pig and I ate like one too.  It was a very good day, and I still managed to find time to remember all that I have to be thankful for!

All hail the Queen!!  ;)  Glad you had a good day my dear!

My honey went out of town to visit his relatives (since I had to work on Thanksgiving), so no home cookin' for me...'cept the secretary at work brought me a plate from her dinner.

Damn...she had the best collard greens i've had in FOREVER.

Re: weed, lol....i made some cannabutter about a year ago and made some Betty Crocker brownies (with a "kick")....gotta be careful with that though.....if you get the munchies, you end up eating a couple more brownies and you might as well just lay down and hold on tight to the bed for a couple more days   ;D

Take care,
John

Hey Queen I'm glad you had a great day..I had chicken tonight..does that count as a Thanksgiving dinner?

Glad you had a good day.

Yesterday (Thanksgiving day) was the the first anniverysary that my mom died.  The last of my family.  I forced myself to go over to some friends house for lots of turkey.  ( I think I gained 30 lbs!).  I just didn't want to be alone.

It turned out to be a good day.  I miss you mom...very much....

I spent Thanksgiving with ex wife's # 2 family.   She is the Good one, not the evil one.   We did it Bahamian style and I did not let my low numbers keeps me away from the stuffed grouper!

Queen glad you had a great time.   I just had to bump the ganja because I feel a little nausea...  I ate my last plate right after the meds..  Damn thing just tasted so good.

Jan, I think you can make any meal qualify for Thanksgiving if you count your blessings and don't count your calories.

Queen, glad you had a great one!

The meal was spectacular (as usual), despite declarations of "I overcooked this" and "I messed up that" (as usual).  My mother and sisters always start that disclaimer dialogue every year...and the food is always orgasmic, no matter what they say.  I came home with a mountain of leftovers.  I have chunks of desserts in the kitchen that I haven't tried or even looked at yet!

Queen.   So glad to hear that you had a great time and that you are dating someone with potential (the details about which are forthcoming?).  Win

In all my years of being a weed connisuier(sp?), which I have over 15 yrs invested, I have never come across the brownies with kick...Wouldn't mind trying some..Sorry to hear you had to work but I bet the holiday pay was sweet.

I wouldn't say dating but getting to know each other. After the track record I've had in my life with men, I'm moving reeeaaallllll slow. I'm looking for substance this time around. I kinda feel for him actually because when it comes to relationships , you know what they say, once burnt, twice shy...Well, I'm kentucky fried, ok! :D

I did come home with a sweet potato pie. I have never been one to travel with leftovers, doesn't know why, just never did. I hope all that food goes to your ass.... :D...Wishes I could raid your fridge when I have the munchies. ;)
