I've often heard people use the line about God made Adam and Eve, not Adam and Steve. But, the amazing reply is simply, God made Adam, God made, same as he made Steve, you and me.

Hmmmm....I think I am skeptical on this one. Has anybody (else) gone to this guy's MySpace page? If so, have you checked out his friend list? How about the friend list for his back up band, Evening Service? Their buddies include 'Polly Prissy Pants' and some other not-so-closeted cases.
If it is a parody, I think it's genius and want him on my Buddy List.

Yeah...that's not a big suprise, though. I have had passages I have written kicked back on sites for really arbitrary reasons.
Like- I could write that I "really hate brussel sprouts" and have it kicked back because the word ''hate'' isn't allowed.
There isn't much room for irony on some sites. That video walks such a tightrope that I could easily see the powers that be deciding to toss it as inflammatory. After reading so many of the comments about it, I am sure it got reported.

If it's parody though I think at some point you need to be able to tell or it's not making its point. From the commentary on different web sites I'm not alone in my stupidity... and I go back and forth in my evaluation of this. I absolutely detest being played the sucker in life so if it is I'm failing like a class-A failure.

Thanks to the sleuthing of Dallas JMG reader Bob Stoller, "Pastor Donnie Davies" has been exposed as Dallas-area actor Joey Oglesby (First name corrected from post headline). Here he is. Joey Oglesby recently appeared in a production of Debbie Does Dallas: The Musical. Joey Oglesby is a former member of the Chicken & Pickle Guys sketch comedy duo.
Finally. Our long national nightmare is over. I tip my hat to Joey Oglesby and his crew for a fun diversion. Now we can go back to worrying about the war! I'll post the behind-the-scenes details and the reason for all this drama, as soon as I know it.
