switched to stribild las week

so I was taking truvada norvir and presista for 2 years and my doc switched me to stribild because my other combo was giving me diarrhea but besides that I had no side effects from that combo. so I was worried about side effects from stribild. I have been taking stribild for a week now and have had zero side effects, I havnt been able to notice any minor stuff either so im pretty happy with that, also the diarrhea stoped the day after I stoped my old combo which surprised me. one thing I like about striblid is it is faster to refill one pill vs 3. I was surprised that this one pill is $3000 a month which is about the same as the other 3 combined. one thing I am not a fan of is you have to eat a meal before you take the pill and I don't always eat at the same time and also they want you to eat 800 calories 50% fat meal with the pill which is a lot for me to eat in one meal. havnt done any bloodwork yet but as long as that is good I will be happy with this new pill.

just thought this could be helpful to someone thinking about switching meds

thanks. yes I was very sick when I found out what was wrong, after starting meds 2 years ago I have only had one little cold.

Started Stribild about a week after you did.  Like you no side effects at all.  I'm very happy with it so far.

I was told to take it with food and asked specifically about the size of the meal the pharmacist and doc both told me it didn't matter just eat. Take mine with breakfast and its rarely more than a few hundred calories.
