Well there's always a first and this is a first for me.  I have never, in all the years since 1984, ever heard anyone point this out and unless someone posts an article in support of the nurse's opinion, I would assume that he/she was way, way off the mark.  I am glad that you thought to post this and hope that anyone reading the threads who is perhaps sitting on something like this, something which they don't quite buy but which still concerns them, will use these forums to unburden themselves.  Few of us are medical professionals, but, as you may have noticed, some of us are great about finding the information online (and I don't mean me).  Win

Wish she would have said what color it changes to.   Can you imagine glow in the dark semen?   Mine is still a milky white, but of course I have only been pos for about a year and a half ::)..  If it feels the same I don't care what color it turns to.

Hi Javicho

I have been a nurse for almost 30 years and I have never heard of anything remotely like this..semianl "fluid" is called that for a reason, I'm sure if any of the long term guys were passing "lumps" we would have heard about it and the only time I have seen a change in color is if there was blood in the semen...but I'm willing to keep an open mind about this..as Poet said there is a first time for everything.

Take care
Jan :)

Hey Javicho,

I am uncertain where your Nurse received this information from. The color of my semen has not changed as well. You may want to print this and take it to her for future reference.

I'm beginning to think that he/she said this just to get threads like this going after any numbers of males go and check... or is it just me?  :) Win

Nope, 21 years a possie and counting and still no lumps, no color change and certainly no lessening of amount, etc.

Me thinks your your nurse may be off the mark with this one.

What about less that happens because of the age? or related w/HIV? and also she was referring someting about you can see things like crumbs? or someting like that.
I know sounds crazy but she was very serious, that's why I'm so confused

Ok, the fact she was serious is a whole issue by itself.... LMAO!

I keep getting images of cake crumbs in my semen for some reason....

Now I have to go visit blackbooty.com  to make sure....

Javicho this will be the 5th time I've had to investigate this and have been getting a little fatigued and getting low on cigarettes... no crumbs or neon colors yet!

Javicho, since I know that you are both concerned and confused since this came from someone one would hope would know what she was talking about you can 1) ask her to explain what she meant the next time you see or talk to her since only she could tell you exactly what she meant and WHY; 2) relax, I hope, that none of us with our range of hiv infection behind us have seen changes other than perhaps it taking longer to 'recover' between exertions and/or a decrease in amount projected.  As an expert in this field, since I spent 10 years doing prostate massage, yes, I did see a reduced flow with at least one client whom I first met when he was barely of age to ten years later and he was the one to comment on it.  I have never, ever seen anything like 'crumbs' with any client of any age or health condition, including hiv positive men, male cancer patients, etc.  Win

Is it wrong of me to find the image of a man ejaculating dark crumbs rather humorous?  ;)

I will steel myself to several hours of exhausting research on this topic and promise to get back to you with the results.  It will be very scientific.

In all seriousness, I've done a lot of real research on HIV, I have never read about that, nor been told it by any medical professional.  It sounds like an urban legend.  A very disturbing urban legend.

I don't have a penis, so no semen. I see men of all colors but I still can't get no semen.....Ok, I know that was bad. ;D......*Bad Akasha, gives herself a time out* ;D ;D ;D

Thank you Poet for your comments it will be very helpful when I talk to the nurse I'm going back in two weeks and most definitely I will take everybody comments to make sure she understands that she needs a little more of research before she speak up.

I wonder if she thinks it turns like a rotten green or something nasty.

I was a little disappointed yesterday because my sister in law (who is a nurse) said I could very much infect her just by bleeding on her...  she said a few other funny things but I just wanted to get my grub on.   I also find it difficult to concentrate on the ignorance of what's being said.. kinda humorous but a lil scary!
