Madonna's in concert tonight!
« on: November 22, 2006, 08:13:58 pm »
How did I not hear about this???  I just happened to check the listings, and there she is!  it's a nice production so far, I like that it's actually filmed instead of taped (or that could be an illusion.)

I'm killing myself because I cut the cable a month ago because I hardly ever watch TV. Somebody record it and do a friend a favor. Send me a copy, please!!! I'll love you for it the rest of your life!  ::)

Catman, don't waste one of your lives on HER!  Is there no NBC affiliate in PR?!!  No cable needed! From the production, though, I'm sure it will be released for sale. if I'd known, I would have had a tape ready!!  It's fab!!

I saw it was on but ignored it. She does look good for 48 though. I like some of her classic stuff better. I wonder if she is gonna be like Tina Turner and perform in her 60's? Then will she be the Material Grandma?

There's nothing quite like watching Madonna in a ventilated, sedated patient's room.   ;)

(god knows what kind of freaky dreams they were having while she was on though)

Basquo; Thanks for trying to record it if you would have known earlier. There is no affiliate of NBC here. Only on cable. I really hope she puts it out for sale. I'm a fan ever since I was around 21 and now I'm 43. I went to her "Girlie Show" concert when she came to Puerto Rico. I liked how she presented "Fever" and "Justify My Love". This concert was not one of my favorites, though. "Like a Virgin" sucked. I was going to post my request about someone recording it for me last Monday but I didn't think this forum was the place for it. I regret it now. Thanks anyways. :)
Well, I still have a few of my 9 lives left! Meow.

Madonna should be an inspiration to all of us who are around that age. No limits, and if you do have limits, make the most of what you have.

That Madonna. She sure knows how to work a room (this planet), making sure to push all the buttons on the way. Love her to bits.

I hope I look that good at 48. Not long now :(

I think Tina Turner is more of an inspiration for me. Yes, it's true that Madonna is almost kicking 50 in the ass but I think she should tone down on her shock value. When will it look like she's being old and perverted? Sometimes you gotta know when to say when or perhaps reinvent one's self. I dunno, maybe it's just me but I liked her older stuff like Justify My Love and Human Nature....Eh, to each his own I guess.
