I'm betting Willis got some sort of a pay off since he was against the song's usage by the Trump campaign back in 2020 and isn't getting rich off of gay culture 40 yrs after scoring any hits.  >:(

I remember when I  lived in Canada for a few years, back in early 90s. We'd go to the YMCA as there was a real hardcore weights gym in the basement & we'd lift weights. Women didn't go down into that dungeon! lol.

We'd swim the pool which was clean but probably built in the 1950s. Then there was aerobics classes for women & basketball etc on there. So to me it was an affordable low priced gym to go to, though kind of old & dated.

I'm guessing by the song there's much bigger YMCAs in the USA with restaurant, and rooms for travellers? Or am I missing something.
