Oral sex followed by severe symptoms. How could this be??

Here is my situation.

I’m a 28 year old heterosexual male who visited Dallas 45 days ago and made a horrible decision. I received a handjob from a CSW. I also performed unprotected oral on her for 60-90 secs. So stupid! She did not climax. I know cunnulingus is considered very low risk / no risk, depending on who you ask, but over the last 45 days I have developed some very troubling symptoms. See approximate timeline below.

Day 1: risky encounter in Dallas

Day 4: uncomfortable feeling in Pwnis

Day 5: uncomfortable feeling in Penis gets worse. Constant need to urinate. Recurrent tingling feeling in tip.

Day 7: Visit doc. Tests would turn out negative for all STD’s (I realize way too early for HIV). Doc prescribes antibiotics for UTI.

Day 10: UTI like symptoms disappear. Begin to feel nauseas and weak during day. Experience severe night sweats. Trouble sleeping.

Day 11-20: Nausea and weakness continue as do severe night sweats. Lose 5% body weight.

Day 18: antibiotic treatment ends.

Day 21: Nausea and weakness subside. Night sweats moderate but continue to happen.

Day 22: Notice 3 pin prick looking red dots on palm. Notice bad taste in my mouth. Look in mirror to notice white coating on back half of tongue.

Day 25: visit Doc again. He thinks antibiotics may have caused symptoms listed above. Instructs me to take probiotic supplements and reschedule for follow up appointment in one month.

Day 29: Moderate nightsweats persist. 3 more red dots appear on shoulder. White coating on tongue remains, but not getting worse. Hands start going numb during sleep and tingle intermittently thru day.

Day 30: Take Oraquick oral swab home test – results negative.

Day 30-40: nightsweats, red dots and white tongue remain.

Day 40: Take Oraquick test – again negative.

Day 45: I’m writing this post. Nightsweats, red dots, and white tongue persist.

I’ve done a ton of self-research the past 45 days. Despite many respected sources stating the risk of insertive oral sex is either tiny or non-existant, my symptoms are extremely consitent with ARS (the one thing I never had was a fever, though the severe nightsweats might have substituted for that). Obviously I’m very concerned.

On the one hand I have convinced myself I have HIV. The red dots (petechiae) and the white tongue were the final things that put me over the edge. These things are very rare in 28 year old men that were in otherwise good health before this episode.

On the other hand I’m trying to take comfort in my Oraquick 30 day and 40 day negative results. I know these tests aren’t perfect and the only conclusive test is a 3 month test, however 40 days is 2 days shy of 6 weeks. I’ve read in many places that 90-95% will seroconvert by 6 weeks. Given my intense symptoms day 10 thru 20, my unprofessional mind is thinking I should have detectable antibodies by now. Thoughts? Maybe I’m one of those 1 in 12 that gives a false negative on the oraquick home test, just like I could be the 1 in 10,000 that contracted HIV thru oral.

I’m visiting my doctor in 2 weeks, which will be 8 weeks since the risky encounter and plan to take the another blood test then. In the meantime, any thoughts?

You never had an exposure. If you are concerned about your symptoms see your doctor. They are not HIV related.
