HIV and Syphilis from Mutual Masterbation?
« on: May 06, 2010, 02:19:24 am »
Hello all,
14 weeks ago I recieved an unprotected handjob from a high risk CSW (only a handjob was done. absolutely nothing else) After 6 weeks I had a wide spread rash all over body, very tired, neck stifness, canker sores in mouth, and constipation. These all lasted about 3 weeks. I now have a non itchy rash on my palms, extremly dry skin on head of penis, pain in the left testicle that lasted 3 days, and a needle head sized bump under my skin on the shaft of my penis right below the head which i can somewhat move around when i touch it. I was told there has been no cases of anyone getting HIV via handjob, but now im concerned the CSW gave me Syphilis, which would give me a good possibility of also having HIV. I'm scared to death to say the least. I got an HIV test at 7 and a half weeks which came back negative. can someone please inform me of my chances that i caught something or any information that would help me. thanks

We are an HIV specific website and a discussion of syphilis is outside the scope of this forum. If you are concerned about syphilis, you should speak to your doctor.

You cannot contract HIV from a handjob. You do not need to be tested for HIV. And yes I have considered your concerns about syphilis in arriving at that opinion.

Please take the time to read our Welcome Thread and follow the links to our lesson on HIV transmission.

You need to discuss your various symptoms with your doctor. We cannot diagnose anything in this setting. What we can say as Matty has already told you, is that it has nothing to do with HIV because you didn't do anything risky for HIV.

Talk to your doctor and find out what's going on.

Cheers.

thanks for the input, but i cannot get the thought that she had a cut on her hand and i may have had some chaffing due to dry skin under the head of my penis. If both these were present could HIV be spread this way?

No. HIV is not spread via masturbation. Even if there are cuts on hands and dry skin on dicks.
