Dried blood inside Ear
« on: June 11, 2023, 11:22:53 am »
Hello all, I was wondering if anyone had this happen? Could be happenstance. I have been on nystatin, diflucan, bactrim and of course bitnarvy. This morning I woke up with dried blood in my ear only one. No sign of any laceration, it was not a lot but noticeable. I have been having issues with the ear almost like I had water in it, but now that seems to be gone. Otherwise I feel great no side effects so far from any of my meds.

The lack of response here makes me feel better, the thrush is pretty much cleared up and I really feel great. Seems hard to believe I have this the way I feel. Not letting guard down though taking meds and swish and swallow religiously.

Sorry about the lack of response. Although I do try to read everything that's posted I sometimes do miss things.

Look it doesn't sound at all related to your treatment or HIV. Most of things people have aren't and
you will from time to time get sick, have issues, bumps, scarapes, and get bugs just like your HIV negative peers.

See you doctor if the ear problem returns.

the ear issue sounds like something you need to talk to your doctor about. It doesn't sound like anything HIV related. Get 'em to use that little light and take a peek to see what's going on in your ear.

Glad the thrush is gone. Egads! I hate that stuff. I had it really bad several times and have scarring in my throat that irritates my swallowing sometimes. Glad to hear that you're feeling well too.

Thanks for the responses, seeing Doc next week, will ask about. Has not happed again, I think along with the thrush I have had an ear infection which the Bactrim and Nystatin have mostly cleared. For quite awhile it has felt like my ears were plugged, like when swimming sometimes. So nice that seems to be gone
