Last Thursday I received oral sex from someone I found out is HIV+. Now based on everything I've read here and a few other places, my chances of getting HIV from receiving oral sex is zero. But I just can't stop worrying. I've been nauseous and tired the last few days which I know can't be caused by infection (it's too soon) but probably is just anxiety.
Here are my questions...
1. Am I right in thinking that my chances of getting HIV are close to zero and the "symptoms" I'm having are probably nerves?
2. How soon can I test and be reasonably sure of the results. I know 3 months is the most accurate but I'll probably go crazy if I really have to wait that long. Also, I have one of those HomeAccess test kits, is the waiting time for those definitely 3 months?
Thanks so much...I'm going crazy :(

You copped a blow job right?
There is no risk of contracting HIV from this EVEN if the person who went down on you is poz. You do not need to test.

Thanks matty.
I'm going to get tested for STDs later this week (just a good measure). If I test positive for another STD does that increase my risk for receiving HIV from oral sex?

Thanks again. I think I'm going to also use the HIV test since I already have it but I'm going to wait to do that. I'm starting to feel a little less anxious about it, and hopefully all the anxiety will go away soon. But I know that I won't be completely satisfied until I know for sure.
