Differcult visit to the clinic .
« on: September 27, 2013, 05:31:36 am »
Yesterday I had a follow up visit to the clinic , another batch off body fluids and , resulting in seems like antibiotics are working come back if the infection comes back

The differcult bit is the letter I picked up. In order to stay in my flat I am appling for an exemption from the bedroom tax , and needed a Doctors letter to do this.

My Doctor wrote an excellent letter with 12 medical problems I have. This has left me in  shock.I think I must use creative ignorance by just not being aware off at least 6 off them. This kinda conflicts with a self view that I don,t ignore things,I do though and it will be a long time before I read the letter again .

I am reminded off someone, sadly now dead, who I shared many days with on the ward way back before combo. He was being treated for CMV and had got to the stage where his veins where collapsing and he needed a permanent Hickman line fitted. At the time this was an image off impending death to a lot off us, I was so impressed by how he used humour to get to the next day. He introduced me to a saying that often pops into my head.

We,ll just play it by fear.

More ammunition for you to use with any insurance/SSI issues. I've got to prove to my disability insurance company's biannual reviews that I'm still disabled. Everytime I do I've got yet another diagnosis and they still persist. What disturbs me is when the doc says that I'm regressing. Well not really, I always was a big kid.

Love the humorous phrase you learned. A friend of mine, now passed, use to say if I ever lost my sense of humor I was to get on all fours and crawl around the floor until I found it again.

I take some of my diagnosis with a grain of salt. Just by living you acquire many of them eventually.
