by the way, in looking up some spelling etc, I see that you, Betelgeuse, probably won't be exploding in 2012 (though if it does, that means it really exploded back in 1371), so that's good news for you and everyone else here on Earth. LOL

I love astronomy. I think I've seen every episode of The Universe and anything astronomy-related on Nova. I picked this name because of how it's pronounced - thought it was cool.
And those pugs - I just got through watching this dude's other videos. Man if I had a house with a big yard, and wealthy enough to not work, I'd keep a big group of them!

BTW, Leatherman, thanks for the link to the article on Betelgeuse. I was looking for a good avatar and I found the perfect one from that site.

shoot! you don't need a big yard or house, just lots of love and patience (well, money for the dog food and knowing how to groom dogs helps too). By the time we had closed the pet store and just before Randy passed away, we lived in a little bungalow on a corner lot and had seven cocker spaniels (from our first one to some of her grand-children) under foot.
That was the first pack. Then just before they all passed away, I got grandchildren and great grandchildren of our first spaniel, and had four in pack #2. Since my little girl passed away just months before Jim did, it's been just me and the last 3 great grandsons for these last few years.
