Pripyat (Chernobyl) the last day

On the first 3 minutes you can see how it was two years after the disaster. From minute 3 images from the same day of the explosion till the evacuation announcement is given. On minute 3, 50 you can see a pedestrian asking the police why are they wearing masks. The sparks on the film are an effect of the radiation and the population remains unaware enjoying a sunny day outdoors. People were told to pack enough things for three days. They never came back.
