Title: Things are kind of iffy at the moment
Post by: delilah07 on March 26, 2020, 03:23:00 am
I did it. I found a job. I'm waiting for the background check to be done.
But I found out today that my spouse may be temporarily unemployed. He finds out tomorrow.
But for now I am grateful that I have a job and my upper respiratory infection cleared up.
I also pray nightly. I just ask for things to be okay. Like my family stays healthy.

 :)

Glad to hear you found a job.  If your husband finds himself temp unemployed, make sure to have him file for unemployment as soon as possible, to start collecting benefits.

Are you in the United States ?

My husband has been unpaid for months now due to a contested worker's compensation claim.

But I got good news from my manager today. I'll definitely have work U Less we are closed by the Government.  Even though we are not frontline healthcare providers, we are in a support role. So fortunately we look like having at least one income during this crisis.

Good luck with your new job.

It turns out my spouse still has a job. It's gone from 40 to 25 hours weekly. As long as the company remains open. But Yes we are in the US.

My spouse had a back issue at work. He had workers comp. He was out of work for two weeks last year.
