Definate exposure

Hello , during a lap dance i scratched one of my fingers a lot ( due to mosquito bite) , dont know how come but i scratched it so much that i got a wound and blood (about 1 drop) showed up.
when was going on, the dancer fingered her "v" a lot..and unknowingly touched my wound..like caressing my hands..her hands were wet !
 when the dance finished i shook her hands and i did feel they were slimy and wet ( dont know why) i noticed that. after that i unknowingly still scratched my wound...not noticing the blood.

PLEASE PLEASE let me know if her bodily/ vag. secretions were on her hands and if it were passed on my hands  wen she was caressing it when i shook hands and unknowingly again scratched it..and i brought them in contact with my wound( where blood was already present)
1. do i have a risk ??
2. do i need to get tested
3. after how many days should i test myself
Please let me know your expert opinions as they count a lot.
..Please help...worried like hell.

No, you did not have a risk. And no, you don't need to get tested. HIV is a fragile virus and is not passed in the manner you are worried about.

Sexually the only confirmed risks for the transmission of HIV are unprotected vaginal and anal intercourse. It's really just that simple.

Nothing you are reporting has put you at risk.

However i got my family doc's appointment today and i shared the worry and the exposure way. He mentioned that if the strippers fluids are immediately transferred to my hand and i immediately scratched my live blood wound , then there are chances that HIV  / STI's can be transferred that way.

So he took my blood samples to be sent for testing for Hep B, C and syphilis.
The reports will reach him after 2 weeks ( i think that's too much time).

Please let me know your opinion on this as it really counts a lot... here ...i am sh**ing bricks thinking of the worst.

Your doctor seems very ill-informed about HIV transmission and how is differs from hepatitis and other stds.  I am very sorry that you were needlessly worried about the possibility of HIV infection. There was undeniable zero risk from the incident you described. Not low risk - NO risk.

Shit all the bricks you want - all you'll get is a sore ass. Family doctors/general practitioners are notorious for their lack of knowledge where hiv and other STIs are concerned. Who are you going to believe, an ill-informed doctor or people who live with this virus and have been working in the hiv prevention field for a combined number of years that probably adds up to longer than you've been alive?

You didn't have a risk.

Here's what you need to know in order to avoid hiv infection:

You need to be using condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, every time, no exceptions until such time as you are in a securely monogamous relationship where you have both tested for ALL sexually transmitted infections together.

To agree to have unprotected intercourse is to consent to the possibility of being infected with an STI. Sex without a condom lasts only a matter of minutes, but hiv is forever.

Have a look through the condom and lube links in my signature line so you can use condoms with confidence.

ALTHOUGH YOU DO NOT NEED TO TEST FOR HIV SPECIFICALLY OVER FINGERING, anyone who is sexually active should be having a full sexual health care check-up, including but not limited to hiv testing, at least once a year and more often if unprotected intercourse occurs.

If you aren't already having regular, routine check-ups, now is the time to start. As long as you make sure condoms are being used for intercourse, you can fully expect your routine hiv tests to return with negative results.

Don't forget to always get checked for all the other sexually transmitted infections as well, because they are MUCH easier to transmit than hiv. Some of the other STIs can be present with no obvious symptoms, so the only way to know for sure is to test.

This certainly puts my mind at ease.

So ill summarize that even if her bodily fluid came in contact with my blood and even if she is infected, i was not all at risk.( even if everything mentioned happened within lets say within a second.) Right !!

Fingering is NOT a risk for hiv infection, regardless of whatever details you can think of to add.

You have NOT had a risk for hiv infection!!!

Use condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, correctly and consistently, and you will avoid hiv infection. It really is that simple!!!
