Possible HIV symptoms and Oral sex (insensitive)

Hello; here is my story (Male,23 years old)


I had sex with a sex worker about 8 weeks ago(unprotected oral only and I ejaculated in her mouth)( she is HIV+ I found out after the exposure)  ;

I couldn't stop thinking about it i been very stress ever since (maybe a month after exposure) ; I started to get some symptoms:
sore throat, muscle pain all over my body (more in back and shoulder),diarrhea, sometimes I few heaviness and lots of pain under my jaw,  and even on my face , everyday I get chills( specially In my back) , stomachaches and now discomfort on tongue like pitching   
I read some information on this forum and many other forum regarding oral sex and the risk of getting HIV and almost every one concluded that oral sex is close to zero when it comes to HIV.

let me mention that I also took a oraquick test (swab) at about 7 weeks after exposure.. it was negative

my symptoms come and go for a few hours maybe half a day (I still have the symptoms)



my questions are :

I am possible HIV + base on my symptoms  and exposure ?
has anybody else feel this before (meaning in my same situation ?
maybe this is anxiety playing tricks on me ?
How accurate is this test at 6/7 weeks ? have you seen anybody have different results after this time ?

I was on antibiotics for about a week and ibuprofen for the back pain , does that affects my results ?

Any personal stories similar to mines ?

Getting a blow job is not a risk for HIV no matter the stays of your partner so you can put that concern to rest . HIV is sexually transmitted from unprotected anal and vaginal sex so if this is your only concern 3 months prior to testing negative you are conclusively HIV negative . No one has ever been infected from getting a blow job and you will not be the first .
Here's what you need to know in order to avoid hiv infection:

You need to be using condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, every time, no exceptions until such time as you are in a securely monogamous relationship where you have both tested for ALL sexually transmitted infections together.

To agree to have unprotected intercourse is to consent to the possibility of being infected with an STI.Sex without a condom lasts only a matter of minutes, but hiv is forever.

Have a look through the condom and lube links in my signature line so you can use condoms with confidence.

Although you did not have a risk and do not need to test for this specific incident , anyone who is sexually active should be having a full sexual health care check-up, including but not limited to hiv testing, at least once a year and more often if unprotected intercourse occurs.

If you aren't already having regular, routine check-ups, now is the time to start. As long as you make sure condoms are being used for intercourse, you can fully expect your routine hiv tests to return with negative results.

Don't forget to always get checked for all the other sexually transmitted infections as well, because they are MUCH easier to transmit than hiv. Some of the other STIs can be present with no obvious symptoms, so the only way to know for sure is to test.

Use condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, correctly and consistently, and you will avoid hiv infection. It really is that simple!

We never discuss symptoms because they are not specific to HIV . Its for sure that you didn't get HIV from this incident ... if you are sick go see a doctor and find out why .

Again thanks I was at the doctor Wednesday and did some blood work I'm waiting for results  I don't know how long usually takes he said if he find anything he'll let me know(nothing yet ).... how long does it takes?

how accurate is the oraquick at 7 weeks ?  have you seen anyone else turning positive after a 7 week negative (oraquick swab)  ?

The average time to seroconversion is 22 days. Most who are infected will test positive by 6 weeks. For various reasons a small number will take longer and that is why we follow the CDC recommendation to test at 3 months for a conclusive negative result.

You are not going to test positive over this incident but having an HIV test now and then is a good thing, so do not worry over this incident .
