I love Nancy Sinatra...'Summer Wine' is a great song. Plus, the drag community should send her royalties. I just might order a "are you ready boots" t-shirt she's hawking...girl's got to make a livin'.

I have Petula Clark in my car C/D right now!   I love her music.

I hope they play something like that when we are in Montreal....I'm going to make Danny go go dance with me  ;)

The pony, the jerk, the frug, the swim, the monkey....and of course, the twist.

This music brings back so many happy memories to me.   In the 60's, when I was a boy, my older cousin Bonnie ( who was my 60's role model - she had teased up blonde hair, Marlo Thomas eyelashes and drove a Camaro...)taught us how to dance.  Remember "Hang on Sloopy?"   That was my favorite.   My first concert was to see Joe Rumore's "Shower of the Stars" at Boutwell auditorium in Birmingham, and I saw Paul Revere and the Raiders and Frigid Pink (remember House of the Rising Sun?)
