Yo YUP - Broke 600
« on: August 17, 2007, 07:47:48 pm »

I feel like that goofy guy glowing in the Sustiva ad.

3 months ago I was dismayed that my CD4 went from 573 down to 475.  Well, back up we go.  I broke 600.  Holy Crap.  637/35% to be exact.  Wow, they really do go up and down wildly...but it sure is nice to have some breathing room above that 500 mark.  It's the only time I'm happy about being 'normal'.

Thanks everyone.

I'd attribute quiting smoking and running to the good numbers, but I have a feeling that I can mostly just thank science and my cell phone alarm reminding me to drop the Atripla bomb every night at 11:30 pm.

much love,
brian

Hey Brian:
That's great.  It also gives me hope that I've now read of someone else on these forums who's been able to quit smoking.  I'm still trying, but I haven't given up. Thanks for the hope!

Betty,

It took me a year and a half of trying.  I'm not sure how I did it, but I think one key was that I didn't quit trying.  Running alot helps too.  Keep goin' for it, you'll make it!

Good for you Brian!   I'll be happy to see the day when I'm at least back to that point ; )   But, the meds do work so glad to hear your good news.   And, you may have just given me the inspiration to quit smoking again ; )
