Here we go again.  Seems some folks have been booted from a public pool in Kentucky for their gayness and potential to infect the pool with teh AIDS.

This part of the article cracks me up:

Hazard Mayor Nan Gorman said it is her understanding that people are asked to leave fairly often due to the rule barring excessive public displays of affection, no matter their sexual orientation.

Really?  Excessive public displays of affection are this frequent in Hazard, Kentucky?   ::)

There probably ain't nothin' to do in Hazard but get drunk and fuck.

Wouldn't it have been better if the pool workers just told them to stop, as there are policies against excessive PDA rather than throwing them out? By kicking them out before giving them a chance to stop what they were doing, then it is a clear case of discrimination. Interestingly enough, if they can prove that they have thrown out straight couples too for the same thing, then discrimination will be difficult to prove.

Are queers protected under the law for equal public accommodation in Kentucky? I somehow doubt that.
