Dr Roussow ? I will meet her this morning ! Nothing to do with my infection. She don't even know I am infected. But I am taking this opportunity to say that she is a fantastic doctor.
She is working at the Public Academic Hospital in Pretoria, while she could have work abroad making so much money.
One day, I asked her: Why are you staying here ? So many people needs help, I can't just let them alone.

She really an amazing Doctor: always smiling, very very skilled and on the top of that: pretty.

Just saying.

Wow. You name-dropper you, John. LOL  ;D

I read the article as it was reposted at MSNBC. I thought it rather timely as there was some discussion in another thread about the issues of resistance when "medication holidays" were suggested as a possible treatment alternative. This article clearly describes how dangerous "drug holidays" are - especially when they happen because you don't even have the meds to take.

Even though I have had some troubles getting and keeping my meds in America, every time I read about the struggles in Africa, it makes me incredibly grateful that I have access to the meds that keep me from dying.
