It is a cardiac stent.

Edit: When I looked it up it is technically the Edwards Sapien transcatheter heart valve.

The father of one of my coworkers had an endovascular repair of an abdominal aortic aneurysm today, so it was on my mind. I haven't heard how the procedure went yet.

I thought it was a homemade napkin ring! :D

I would have expected a cardiac thingy to be more medical looking.

OK Tampa dear, give us another one! :)

It's the new disclosure device for pozzums, tested on the recently "confirmed as still living with teh AIDS" Berlin patient.

Available at Wal-mart for $19.99.

And no (Ann), I will not provide links to substantiate these facts

Sorry to disappoint both you and the Rev, but that little item I posted is a device meant to protect oneself from contracting teh AIDS when indulging in frottage with another person and both of you happen to be topless.

It prevents your nipples from rubbing against the other person's nipples, as that is a route of transmission for teh AIDS.

I like the "My First Buttplug" kit, but it's:

The Womb Battery of 1890 was claimed to cure all manner of feminine ills by electrification of the uterus.  Made of dissimilar metals, it decomposed inside the woman, producing a small electric current.  Any curative powers were likely due to the poisonous effects of copper and silver metal salts on any bacteria and yeast that might be present.

Oh yeah!  I saw this thing on this program called Oddities on the Science Channel.  It's a reality show about a couple in NYC who own and run a rather unique antiques shop.  On a different episode they showed something similar, but it was a prostate stimulator.

Ok, here's an image.  Guess what it is.

Clue: it is not some mediæval instrument of torture.

You are correct, my dear Jeff.

Quote
Jugum penis, United Kingdom, 1880-1920

Guaranteed to bring tears to the eyes of at least half our readers, this device was intended as a treatment for "nocturnal incontinence" and to prevent masturbation. It was designed to deter nighttime emissions by causing enough pain to waken the sleeper if an erection threatened.

Until relatively recently, masturbation was considered a moral weakness and at least partly responsible for a whole range of debilitating medical conditions. Now there is some suggestion that the opposite may be true: frequent self-pleasuring could protect against prostate cancer.

It is slightly similar to this one:

"I have tried hard--but life is difficult, and I am a very useless person. I can hardly be said to have an independent existence. I was just a screw or a cog in the great machine I called life, and when I dropped out of it I found I was of no use anywhere else."

Do You Know What It Is?

Answer:

"...Usually a Rose symbolizes beauty, love and passion. The thorns are a reminder that love can also be painful. For example, there may be sharp disagreements, separation, disloyalty, and other hurtful events.

Another, related meaning is warmth of personality, compassion..."

In other words, the Rose symbolizes what we do in Life.

Right you are.  lol  I've found it searching for early air conditioners on google.

http://richstravelblogaroundtheworld.blogspot.com/2012/02/jaisalmer-day-88-89-90-91-92-93-98.html

It is at the bottom of that link.  I've would have guessed washing machine or camera. I assume that it is peddled powered.  I was thinking if I could make an air conditioner out of ice and a fan or at least that what they use to do in the 40's and 50's.  The heat in NYC is over the top.  I wonder how do people stay cool without one?  hummmm....
