I haven't been here in a while, so maybe the homepage layout isn't so new anymore, but it did take me a while to figure out how to find this Forum.  It was extremely useful for me when i was first diagnosed in late 2011.

I feel that now, in it's current format and with all the posts being aggressively moved around by moderators, it's full potential may get lost.

I recently posted a question asking if anyone's switched from Atripla or Odefsey and it was apparently switched to some other forum that I've never used.  Geez.
The irony will be if this post is moved. Ha.

Sometimes moderators move forum entries from one subject forum to another, if a moderator concludes that the entry is in the wrong forum or would be a better fit in another forum.

When a moderator does this, the moderator explains that the entry has been moved and links to where the entry has been moved, in order that the original poster, and other readers, can find the original entry and any subsequent responses.

Moderators do this in order to keep the forums organized as closely to the forum subject areas as possible.

there has been no changes regarding the policy in moving topics to correct forum boards. If you disagree with a post being moved flag it on the post using the report function and we will review it.

In short if you post was moderated by a mod than a decision was made, and it's not up for public debate.

Jim

Edit. I moved your thread to off topic ...

I'm not going to moderate my posts being moderated by a moderator by flagging it.  If it's moved, so be it. It's an observation that I felt was worthy of sharing, so just consider it a public "suggestion box" submission.

And, unless you're in North Korea, everything is up for public debate.

You can discuss whatever you like within reason and guidelines giving. Now this subject is not off limits you can post here about it all you like but don't expect anything to change and specific decisions are not up for debate.

Like it or lump it I don't care either way.

MY2011

You don't have to like me or agree with me at all. I don't care to be very honest.
Life is too short to care what you think and my job is not to agree with everyone on the forum but to facilitate.

Now I have given you a ban and when you are ready to apologize for the language used you can return. Like everyone else here you are free to discuss whatever you like within certain limits. If you can't accept that than simply don't return.

In the meantime I will open up a serious "suggestion thread" for people who actually want to make real constitutive suggestions. I can't promises anything but we can have a thread on the topic.

As this thread was just smoke screen so you could moan & whinge about nothing I will be locking it unless someone from the mod team has anything to add.

Jim

If a member has an issue with a moderators decision please send a PM or use the report to moderator feature and you're concerns will be considered. Starting threads or sending harassing PM's questioning a moderators decision will result in a warning and the thread will immediately be locked. If a member persist harassing a moderator they will then be given a 7 day time out. If a forum member returns after a time out and continues the harassment they will be given a 30 day time out. There are no 3rd time outs or warnings, if a member continues the harassment it will result in a permanent ban.
