made an oops
« on: August 02, 2011, 11:52:07 am »
a few weeks ago while peeing i zipped up to fast and caught the tip of my head in the zipper. it cut and drew blood. about 2 days after i was in the public urinal and got a surprise bj from a stranger. i was being sucked for about a minute before i jacked off. about a week later i was tired and sweating hot all the time so i went to a minute clinic and didnt have a temp but was hot. i know i prolly just made my sickness worse as soon as i thought of hiv. i couldnt eat, became cold all the time, rapid heart beat and what not. it scares me cause i have a gf and i dont want anything to happen to her. ive been breaking down in my car at school and never been so close to suicide. please help.

Kombo,

You have not had a risk for hiv infection, regardless of having a cut. Not only is saliva not infectious, but it also contains over a dozen different proteins and enzymes that damage hiv and render it unable to infect. Not one person has ever been infected from getting a blowjob and you are not going to be the first.

And before you ask - unless you repeatedly punched this person in the mouth before he blew you, there could not possibly be enough blood present to be of concern.

Here's what you need to know in order to avoid hiv infection:

You need to be using condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, every time, no exceptions until such time as you are in a securely monogamous relationship where you have both tested for ALL sexually transmitted infections together.

To agree to have unprotected intercourse is to consent to the possibility of being infected with an STI. Sex without a condom lasts only a matter of minutes, but hiv is forever.

Have a look through the condom and lube links in my signature line so you can use condoms with confidence.

ALTHOUGH YOU DO NOT NEED TO TEST OVER A BLOWJOB, anyone who is sexually active should be having a full sexual health care check-up, including but not limited to hiv testing, at least once a year and more often if unprotected intercourse occurs.

If you aren't already having regular, routine check-ups, now is the time to start. As long as you make sure condoms are being used for intercourse, you can fully expect your routine hiv tests to return with negative results.

Don't forget to always get checked for all the other sexually transmitted infections as well, because they are MUCH easier to transmit than hiv.

Use condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, correctly and consistently, and you will avoid hiv infection. It really is that simple!

it just scared me cause a week later i got sick. although admittedly it most likely became worse from the anxiety. im a vet and am already an anxiouse person. as soon as that idea popped in my head i lost it. i became so nauseas and got the chills and rapid heartbeat. i couldnt eat for a few days cause i was so sick with myself that i lost 12 pounds. not to mention my right node in my neck has gotten bigger over the last few months and just feels big in my throat. non of these are symptoms? i saw alot of it was related to anxiety attacks but couldnt be sure.

Your getting sick had nothing to do with your blowjob or HIV.

Getting a blowjob, no matter what spin you put on it with details is absolutely not a risk for HIV transmission. No guy has ever been confirmed to have been infected that way. You are not going to make history by becoming the first.

If your symptoms continue you should discuss them with your doctor. They have nothing to do with HIV.

Kombo,

Giving blowjobs is also not a risk for hiv infection. Not only is saliva not infectious, but it also contains over a dozen different proteins and enzymes that damage hiv and render it unable to infect. Your own saliva protects you, regardless of having a sore.

If a person experiences symptoms of seroconversion, they do not come on as quickly as yours did. Whatever was going on had nothing to do with hiv.

You have not had a risk for hiv infection. Please re-read your entire thread.

ok back to the original question. if it was open and possibly bleeding would it increase my risk of me getting hiv through the blowjob? it rubbed on my pants alot and opened up. idk if it would increase my chances seeing as now theres an open passage to bloodstream.

No, it would not. No matter what details you toss into the mix, getting a blowjob is NOT a risk for HIV.

At this point I am going to warn you that if you come back yet again about your non-risk, you may find yourself getting a Time Out fro 28 days.

Re-read the thread as Ann suggested. You were not at risk for HIV and we're not going to keep on examining this issue with you.

Get on with your life.

■Anyone who continues to post excessively, questioning a conclusive negative result or no-risk situation, will be subject to a four week Time Out (a temporary ban from the Forums). If you continue to post excessively after one Time Out, you may be given a second Time Out which will last eight weeks. There is no third Time Out - it is a permanent ban. The purpose of a Time Out is to encourage you to seek the face-to-face help we cannot provide on this forum.

Are you actually reading anything that we say to you? It doesn't seem that way because you have repeatedly been told that you did not have a risk. And that testing is not necessary. You can test anytime you want to since you didn't have a risk. Of course you're going to get a negative result and testing for you is strictly for your peace of mind.

If you come back here again about this non-risk you are going to get a Time Out from the site. Consider yourself warned.

hey all sorry to bug you again. but its been 10 weeks today and i tested and it came back negative. now do i re-test at 12 or 13 weeks for conclusive? what is the likelyhood of it changing from 10 weeks? do antibodies come soon after sickness? cause that what confuses me. would somebody be sick from hiv early and not show until week later or does it follow right after being sick? i took the rapid test that pricks your finger and wait 10 minutes. would this have caught it if i did have it?

You had no risk.

How many times does that need to be repeated?

just one last question. would it still be conclusive to take the rapid blood test at the 13 week mark or should it be sent to the lab?

Test all you want. You didn't have a risk so you're just wasting time, resources and feeding your unwarranted fears just to get an inevitable negative result.

HIV is not your problem.

Now I am giving you a 28 day Time Out as you don't seem able to listen or to heed a warning. Don't make the mistake of trying to get around the TO by starting a new account. We'll spot that right off and it will get you permanently banned.

You did not have a risk. Get it?
