Carlos, huh? I would have named him Wierd Alpaca Yankovick :)

Oh Jan,
I sure wish I could head to NZ after Montreal. I will work for food, just to be around those adorable creatures.
They are lovely, just like their mama. ;) :-*

Hi everyone

I'm glad you like my babies..they really are beautiful animals, not just too look at either, they are very good natured and friendly animals.

When I went out this morning to feed them Carlos was strutting around the paddock, leaping around, showing off basically in front of the others..but I'm not sure what Mum Meg is up to (she is due her baby in Feb) she is running around at his heels, never leaving his side...me thinks she is looking for a Daddy for her little one when it comes... :D.

HAL..a local spinner already has dibs on the wool..maybe I can get her to knit you all jumpers.. ;)

ROD...they do look like old hippies don't they..a sort of curly beatle style hairstlye.. :D

JOHN..Well spoted, snow has been gone for a couple of weeks now..bring on the spring..Alpacas never spit at humans, but I know a few who have been caught in the middle of a spit fight..not pleasnt.

:D..@ John, JK and Alain..(the three stooges... :D)

ZEPHY..See you very soon..can't wait to give you a hug.

LISA..After you get through with your Cat herding skills in Montreal..herding Alpacas will not be a problem, and I could always do with some help... ;D

TERESA, CHRISTINE and DAVID ...thank you for the lovely words..I will pass them  all on to Carlos.

Hugs to you all

Jan :-*

I'm with Ann on this one. I think Meg's spotted the father for her next addition to the farm. She's no dope and knows a good thing when she sees it. He can strut and think he's in charge. You and Meg (and Ann) know better.

Great pictures! Thanks.

:D.@Ann and Andy...the only problem with that is Carlos has been fixed.... I  think she's just looking for a Daddy who will help her bring up the one she is carrying...and Carlos arrived at the right time... ;)
