Welcome

Welcome to the POZ Community Forums, a round-the-clock discussion area for people with HIV/AIDS, their friends/family/caregivers, and others concerned about HIV/AIDS.  Click on the links below to browse our various forums; scroll down for a glance at the most recent posts; or join in the conversation yourself by registering on the left side of this page.

Privacy Warning:  Please realize that these forums are open to all, and are fully searchable via Google and other search engines. If you are HIV positive and disclose this in our forums, then it is almost the same thing as telling the whole world (or at least the World Wide Web). If this concerns you, then do not use a username or avatar that are self-identifying in any way. We do not allow the deletion of anything you post in these forums, so think before you post.

Shout out to Cape positives from Forums posters
« on: January 29, 2007, 07:03:33 am »
Background: I have shoved the forums in front of staff members at the Cape's a.s.o.  ;D getting plugs in the newsletter and now, I hope, a column to those with hiv/aids on the Cape about them.  I have suggested that it be written partially by the harm reduction staff person to reflect that perspective and half by myself as a 'consumer/client.' I would love to have comments directly from the forum posters to newsletter readers in this column, so if any of you would like to post something, a word or two or more about why you come here, what you find here (support? information? a receptive place to vent?), please post away.  The Aids Support Group of Cape Cod's own website is asgcc.org which may give you a feel for what we have and do here.  Thanks! Win
Winthrop Smith has published three collections of poetry: Ghetto: From The First Five; The Weigh-In: Collected Poems; Skin Check: New York Poems.  The last was published in December 2006.  He has a work-in-progress underway titled Starting Positions.
