A Journey...Have You Got What You Want?
« on: September 29, 2006, 12:19:13 am »
My Dear Forum Family,

STREETS OF PHILADELPIA

"I was bruised and battered I couldn't tell what I felt,

I was unrecognizable to myself,

I saw my own reflection in a window I didn't know

My own face

Oh, brother, are you gonna leave me wastin' away in the

Streets of Philadelphia?

I walked the avenue 'til my legs felt like stone,

I felt the voices of friends vanished and gone

At night I could hear the the blood in my veins

Black and whispering as the rain

on the streets of Philadelphia

Ain't no angel gonna greet me

It's just you and I my friend

My clothes don't fit me no more

I walked a thousand miles

just to slip into this skin

The night has fallen, I'm lyin' awake

I can feel myself fadin' away

So receive me brother with your faithless kiss

or will we leave each other alone like this

on the streets of Philadelphia

Love,

Your Zephyr

Dearest Loreen

It's really good to have you back !!! I must confess that I'm concerned by the post as you would seem to be down heartened. Fear not 'sister', many here love you, all of you, exactly as you are.

Please visit, post and share more as you feel you can. You're kind and gentle spirit has been missed.
You have been living large and brave in the world of late and we support you for your courage. I have told you this in private and I'm proud to say it here, you are my heroine, truly.

All my Love
Big Aussie Hugs
