Are there any here????
-
They're hiding with the "good" men!!! :D
-
LMAO!...
-
why of course hiding under rocks as always noy wanting just every one who might be any one to know their status pozzably for the following :
1) beacuse they are not out at work .
2) it might jeopardize their job .
3) it is usualy a macho thing not to disclose one's poz status to other hetro men or the general public beacuse they were doing the nasty with another man on the dl ( down low ) which means they were doing it on the side not telling their partner or mate that they actually enjoyed having sex with a man or a poz woman that knew her status and made him aware of it and he didn't want to take the precaution of using a rubber ( ok condom for the fairer sex )
-
Sooooo all straight pos men are positive because they are at fault sexually somehow.
Disturbing...
-
so most of them are poz cause their bi not straight? hmmmmmmm :-\
-
That was sarcasm by the way.

That was sarcasm by the way.
I know, I was being sarcastic too!!
I think there is such a stigma about poz men having to be bi or having to have contracted HIV through a gay experiance. I remember when the health dept came to interview me after I was infected the man asked me about 50 times if any of my past boyfriends were gay, bi or if I suspected they were. I'm sure there are VERY straight men out there who are Pos and didn't get infectd through anal sex with a man.....
-
My late husband was bisexual. That's not an issue to me.
I just dont like broad generalizations and stereotypes.
Its like saying all cops are bad or everyone of a particular race is a certain way.
-
Um, is bearby a guy? He shouldn't even be posting over here in the first place. But I wish I knew where to find a poz man. where they at? But at the same time bearby's post doesn't make much sense to me because what, women are more open? I beg to differ on that....Now I think I shall report his post to the mods..
-
Ok, read Bearby's sig line and decided to do my part. I sent him a PM explaining that he is not suppose to post in the women's thread....So, I will not report him.

Apologies for posting in the wrong forum. ???
-
they're hiding for sure. i have never met one. they dont go around telling people. i think they just get into relationships knowing their poz status and not telling then wait till someone gets sick then they go and get tested with their partner who they've infected and make like they're surprised at their diagnosis. thats the way it usually happens around here. either that or they are poz and have not been tested. or they are married. :-\
-
I think there are some straight men on the pozpersonals site, but good luck. I have no idea where they all are. :-\
-
Thanks everyone...i do think that men are less willing to disclose than women (straigtht men)..just from exp with my kids dad..he only admitted it to me..but to everyone else i was a lying B and my baby wasnt even his..lolol...it was only until recently (like yesterday) i found his profile on a poz dating site so maybe he is getting some sense..but i know he still hasnt gotten any treatment...one step at a time..he is so big and muscular so he thinks its nothing wrong with him..id ont even fuss with him about it..it just amazes me how someone so outardly strong is so weak on the inside....But i also know its a scary thing...
-
Dang Wishful, who is that in your avatar? :o

I've met a hell of alot of straight pos men. Of course I've put myself in the situations where I could meet them.
I'm a member of a hetero HIV social group. Kind of a club for people in my area that meets once a month and socialises in various locations. When I was interested in dating I put myself on a bunch of dating sites, talked to a bunch of different people and had some dates. Of course when I was looking the most interesting seemed to live 3000 miles away. But I've gotten lucky a couple of times.
Dont get me wrong. Everyone I've met wasnt a great guy but there are some out there. I've met my fair share of crack heads, wack jobs, ass holes and weirdos. You can meet all sorts of men. You just have to put yourself out there and be carefull they dont know where you live. LOL
Wendy
Modified because I forgot to type that it was a HIV group.

This one is married to a neg women and no I didn't get it from anal sex with a man, yes I did cheat. I wish I didn't. I'm not out as HIV pos to anyone but my wife and Doctor/clinic. I even work with an openly gay man (nice guy) that was just married in Canada this Summer...... I wouldn't tell anyone at my job or in my circle of friends..... they wouldn't understand. Sorry if I shouldn't post here. Just say the word and I will remove the post. I don't get on this site too much anymore..... glad to see you ladies have a place of your own.
-
Funny how the guys keep posting in the women's threads.....lol. ;)
-
maybe they should start a "men's responses to positive womens threads" thread :D
-
Not a bad suggestion, Tendai. It's obvious that some of the men have something to say. I guess they would have to post the thread and who they are addressing. I guess it is frustrating to have something to contribute and not be able to say anything.... :-\
-
Maybe i shouldnt have posted this in the women'd forum..DUH!!!..LMAO!
