This looks really promising.  They are doing this study nearbt me.  wondering if I should enroll. but I am already in one and dont know if they would allow it

I think any advancement that tackles inflammation is good (not to mention depletion of the reservoir) and I've often thought that it is likely that a drug used for another condition may wind up holding the key so this is certainly interesting.

That said, one of the drugs mentioned (Tofacitinib) hasn't been approved in Europe due to concerns around safety, and the potential side effects and fact there were some deaths during the original clinical trials don't have me rushing to want to be a guinnea pig myself....the increased risk of infection could be particularly troublesome in an HIV setting I would think.

But everything starts somewhere, so fingers crossed they get some good data from this trial.
