Rainy Depression
« on: March 28, 2007, 09:52:24 am »
Woke up this morning to a cloudy, dreary, rainy day and I love it.  Many people get depressed or feel blah when it rains, for me it is the opposite.  I have been really down the past few days. But for some reason this morning, even though I had to wait 30 minutes in the rain for the bus to work because my regular one never came, my spirits are lifted.  Perhaps as the rain soaked the ground and gave everything a good cleansing, my sadness was washed away too.

It's a nice day,
Woods

Try coming up to this neck of the woods, known as the Pacific Northwest to you Yanks or the Lower Mainland to us Canucks.  You soon learn to hate the rain for the soul-destroying greyness that it is ;)
