Dear Sir sorry to bother you. I have a question. Since i did not find any solution and you have the experties  that is why i am asking you. I read a research Article that says taking Antidepressants SSRIs significantly slows down the viral replication of HIV and RT response of HIV. (I have given the Article link at the end of the query)

Now my question is what if someone takes Antidepressants SSRIs during the whole HIV window period of 90 days daily without missing any day then according to the Article do you think his Antidepressants SSRIs intake during the whole HIV window period of 90 days daily will work like "PEP" and slow down the viral replication of HIV and RT response of HIV as soon as HIV enters the body? As a result do you think his Viral replication of HIV and RT response of HIV will be slowed down to that level where immune system will not be able to recognise Virus or Virus particles and will not produce detectable level of  HIV Antibody?

My exposure was 2 years ago but that time was already taking Antidepressants SSRIs and continued to take during the whole HIV window period of 90 days daily and did not miss any day. So far I have taken 4 HIV 3rd generation Antibody test after 3,6,9 and 12 months of the exposure. I am afraid that my Antidepressants SSRIs intake during the whole HIV window period of 90 days daily may have acted like PEP that is why I am not producing HIV ANTIBODIES and my Viral load may be undetectable. May be in future I will end up having Aids and Die.

Antidepressants SSRIs do not act as PEP, not even close, nor do they inhibit HIV  replication or the immune response to the degree that it would be remotely of any concern or significance in HIV testing.

Thanx for the reply. Actually i had unprotected sex with a woman in November 2021. She was unknown to me.
I am not sexually Active.

My first HIV 3rd generation Antibody test was on 16 feb 2022
Second HIV 3rd generation Antibody test was on 28th may 2022
Third HIV 3rd generation Antibody test was on 5 aug 2022
Last HIV 3rd generation Antibody test was in may 2023

Do you think my all 3rd generation HIV Antibody test is enough or do i need any Advance test like 4th generation or RT PCR test?

Although my all 3rd generation HIV Antibody tests are negative but What concenrs me is that If i may have got HIV from my exposure then my Antidepressants Ssri intake during the whole HIV Window period of 90 days daily may have slowed down the Viral replication of HIV and RT response of HIV as soon as HIV enters the body. Therefore virus replication may be too slow in my body As a result, virus level may be too low in my body even immune system does not recognize them, That is why immune sysyem is not producing detectable level of HIV Antibodies. Therefore my all 3rd  generation HIV Antibodies tests did not detect HIV Antibodies. You are concerned about a single, dated and ex vitro (petri-dish) study of reduced HIV infectivity of macrophage cells. It didn't stop HIV reproduction, regardless of the drug levels introduced and the results would not inhibit HIV infection within the body or change the immune response to a degree that impacts the window period. 

You are not a petri-dish, so in short, unless you are undergoing chemo therapy, taking HIV antiviral treatment or are on your deathbed nothing is going to stop viral replication or immune response to HIV to the point that it would effect the window period.

Finally, even if you had been taking taking PEP, PrEP of had been undergoing chemo therapy that might have extended the window period sightly at the time by a month +-, you have been excessively testing up to 9 months over the window period and would have had a reactive result a long time ago.

You knowing her or not changes nothing. Sexually HIV can be passed on regardless of how well you know someone or your relationship to them.

Anyhow, you had a risk and tested and the result is conclusive, you did not acquire HIV from the encounter in Nov 2021 and further HIV testing over this encounter isn't needed.

Move on with your life and please don't post about this again. Its an old topic asked time and time again and its irrational.

Here's what you need to know to reduce your HIV risks:
Use condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse correctly and consistently, with no exceptions. Consider talking to your healthcare provider about PrEP as an additional layer of protection against HIV

Keep in mind that some sexual practices described as safe in terms of acquiring HIV still pose a risk for other easier-acquired STIs. So please do get tested at least yearly for STIs, including but not limited to HIV, and more frequently if condomless intercourse occurs.

Also, note that it is possible to have an STI and show no signs or symptoms; testing is the only way to know.
