Hope someone here can help you because I am SO looking forward to seeing it. I use Photobucket. If you go that route maybe I can help. Maybe. lol. :)

Something is wrong with the link you are trying to use -- for one thing, at least for me, when I click on it my mail application opens and it tries to insert that link as an email addressee. Second, any link for an avatar should end as a file type, i.e. "xyz.jpg" or for an animated one "xyz.gif"
Try using www.tinypic.com to host your image -- you don't have to register when did a one-off image.
ps: it's called an avatar.

Oh great my crappy education is leaking throe, avatar. See kids don.t run away to London at 16 then have to take remedial English at 24 so the tutors at the college can read your essay,s. Its Hard work.
But thanks for the pick up , spelling I like it pointed out . I can shake with fury when my or someones spoken English is corrected without permission, its so rude in my opinion, maybe its an English thing as in nationality , not language use. Think I am rambling ,checktemptime.

Hey Michael,
Photo sharing sites generally offer a number of ways to link your pictures, say for email, facebook, direct and HTML. I use photobucket and I copy the direct link into my profile, but you have to be sure that the image is 100 x 100 pixels or less.
Use the link Miss P. provided to resize your image and try updating your profile again. It took me a couple of times to get it right, so maybe a nice cup of tea during the process.

Actually this forum resizes things up to a certain point. I'm sure I can make my image 300 x 300 and it will resize it

I will folks but on Sunday as tomorrow is a long hospital day, i did re-size the image btw.

you crack me up , I suppose I did , however it was with negotiation and agreement. Plus my Mother left home at 13 and 3/4 and I was low down dirty enough to use that quite a bit .

Well i have managed via tinythingy to at least lose the empty box. I will do more later what an anti climax this is heading for.

Thank you dear Mitch, its sad re Jeff But I think the world will agree I was goaded into speaking the truth, it was that or wishing him well in the para-sports race he is at the starting line for.
