Cats with thumbs!

There is a diary in the UK called Cravendale and they make some mildly entertaining adverts, but their latest one is a real hoot so I thought I'd share it.

Enjoy! If you're a cat lover like me, you'll probably really like it. :)

And the best TV-Shows, no wonder why we over here in the US copy all of the UK's TV-programs
like "The Office" Being Human, and of course "Shameless" Now currently on US TV's Cable channels
I can't wait for the new Doctor Who next month  :D

Too cute, and I'm not a cat person.  We had one once and I got tired of taking it for a drag.

I would really like to have a cat, except I want one that is cuddly, affectionate and playful.  Those bitchy pussies who think they are better than everyone else can visit the Down Under!

I have 2 cats, both are a yr. apart but they think they are siblings, one is very friendly w/ everyone that comes into the house, but the younger one hides, and hisses @ everyone, both have 2 different personalities
but seem to tolerate each other, at least sometimes, they are both males, and were FIXED when they were kittens, so they really have NO desire to go outside, and they HATE other cats that come anywhere near..  ;D

I have an Abyssinian cat and he is more like a dog than cat. He loves to cuddle, comes when called and he follows me everywhere. If I ignore him, he jumps on my desk and puts his paws on my chest and starts rubbing his head on mine. I've had cats all my life, but never one like this guy.

We also have a Russian Blue, Katrina and a stray black cat, named Ramses, who has grown to the size of a small dog. The Blue is a bitch, the black and Abyssinian (Amun) are both males and best buddies.

We have a BIG tabby male that belongs to someone across the street, but they are never home , and he comes into the front porch, crying his little heart out, I made the mistake of feeding him one day, and now he just won't go away (only if she comes home he'll leave) when he see her drive up, but I cannot let him into
the house? if he's not FIXED he'll pee and FIGHT my other 2 males , and I don't want to spend a lotta
money on VET bills due to THIS, he's a sweet cat, but I'm at a loss as to what I can do for him ???

I too made the mistake of feeding a stray cat that showed up one day.  Now I find myself regularly buying it cat food and it refuses to leave.  I made it an outdoor cat box so it could be comfortable and warm and I went out one morning and there were 3 baby opposums sleeping with her.  They stayed for quite a while and I would feed them with the grill tongs.

I LOVED this advert or adsnort! Count on Brits to make product pushing fun and funny. My 18-lb boy looks like denb's avatar. Smart as a whip, too. Acts like Joe's cat when in need of attention. Has learned from me four tricks, sit, sit and give paw, lie down and roll over. I adopted him (or vice versa) sixty days after dx and he was a lifesaver, day starter, warm bedmate in winter and greeter at day's end. Here we are seven years later and he's still got me wrapped 'round his thumb. Perhaps I am capable of a long-term relationship after all!

Why thank you Mr. Dennis!  I think he is a handsome guy as well.  I let him outside in the mornings and today had to coax him down from a palmetto tree just a few moments ago.  If he is not up in that crabapple tree, he is in one of the palm trees around here.

I wish our cats would climb trees, that's easy. When we lived in Florida, we had a pet door and the cats would bring Iguanas in the house, quite alive and we would find them around the house in the morning. One night Katrina brought a large snake into our bedroom and Stephen almost died of fright, when he stepped on it during the night. Ah... good times.  8)

Dude.  Not sure what I would do if The General brought a snake into the house.  I am sure that is a night to remember.

He is just turning 1 year old and still has lots of spunk in him so that may be why he climbs so much.  Also, he uses the palm tree to get up on the roof (straight up the trunk then onto the roof).   The crabapple tree offers an array of branches for him to explore and there is a (now abandoned) bird nest for him to check out too.  The day in the life of a kitty... gotta love it.

I've been getting a kick lately outta telling the story of Mr. Kitty dragging that bunny into the house during the night a few weeks back and trying to take it under Mom's bed. I still get the giggles thinking about Mom screaming, her dogs barking and running around, my dogz howling, the cat growling and that bunny jumping 4 feet off the floor over and over as he desperately looked for a way to escape our madhouse. :D ;D

I literally snatched the bunny out of the air on one of his jumps and took him outside. Of course the dogs and cat came right out the doggie door and gave chase; but the rabbit squeezed through the fence and safely vanished into the woods.

Mikie LOL it sounds like they all lost out on a good catch. they all could have been in a feeding frenzy, oh that poor bunny at least it got away  however I feel that the bunny probably went into the woods and died of a heart attack after that fiasco :D

When I had the pet store, my cockers got into the small animal room once and barked at two bunnies in a cage until they croaked from fright; so I wondered about that too in this case. Mr. Kitty (Moms's unique ::) name for her cat) hadn't even broken skin, so the rabbit was intact and uninjured when he left. What was really amazing about the situation was that the rabbit is as big as Mr. Kitty! I can't believe that cat dragged that big of a rabbit, kicking and fighting, across the yard, up the stairs, through the doggie door and into the bedroom. Mr. Bunny was jumping around pretty good in the bedroom and on the deck before scampering away at the end. I hope he made it and warned his kinfolk to avoid our property.  ;)
