I don't think it's the wrong forum.

Just go full screen and turn up the volume.

As I sat and watched this, the haunting images of these people, combined with the beautiful, melancholy sound of Annie's voice really got to me. I at and cried for the first time in a really long time. I realize how incredibly lucky I am to be here in the US. AIDS here is different than in the Third World countries. I get my meds for free, counselling if I need it, support groups, this website, and countless other things designed to make having and dealing with this shit a little bit easier. These people have none of these things, yet they still smile, and you can see it in their eyes that the smiles are genuine. I think of folks that I know here, and how bitchy they get if the local ASO doesn't respond to their beck and call instantly. I would be more than willing to give up everything except the meds and Doctors visits and have that money used to help these people. All I can do however, is pray for them to a God that I'm not always too sure actually exists...
The only thing I can do straight is shoot..

Thank you Ademas for sharing this with us..and indeed reminding us of how lucky we are to be living in a part of the world, that may not always seem to care about us, but who are doing what they can to make living with HIV easier for us to deal with.

Thank you Carl for putting everything that was in my head and my heart as I watched the video into the written word.

Hugs to you both
