I have had HIV since the early 1980's.
This condition, and some of the earlier anti virals, hurt my musculature.
One supplement, more than anything else, helped me. It is called Juven and it is
made by Abbott pharmaceuticals.
For some reason, Abbott halted production.
I have been on line and on the phone for hours but no one has it.
DOES ANYONE KNOW WHERE I CAN GET JUVEN OR WHERE I CAN GET SOMETHNG THAT APPROXIMATES JUVEN
Three of the prime constituent ingredients in Juven are gluatmine, arginine and HMB -- all of which are amino acids, which can be found in foods containing protein.
You might think that I could therefore get the Juven I need from ordinary food, but the 3 amino acids in Juven are, apparently, in the right proportion to WORK WONDERS FOR ME. For years, it kept my muscles relatively strong.
One can buy these three amino acids from many health food stores, and I did -- however the stuff I bought was nauesating and one must be careful buying supplements because in 1994 Congress passed a statute divesting the FDA of jurisdiction over supplements.

NOTE ABOUT PLACEMENT OF THIS QUERY: This query really pertains to nutrition an d supplements but I posted it in this discussion because the forum on nutrition is somewhat inactive.

Seriously, a quick google finds this on Amazon and other places. Are you just trying to get people to buy this?
