The Last Arrival

I just checked into the hotel (12:45 local time) and am going exploring to find the walking group (they have left me a map at the front desk....how thoughtful!)  I will be joining the Alcatraz group at 2:50 pm.  For my money, it is the only way to look at a prison.

Looking forward to reacquanting myself and meeting new friends too.

I am certain someone will refresh me on whatever scandals I have missed already!

Last but not least.  Gary traveled from a family wedding on the East Coast to the West Coast and joined us on the ferry to Alcatraz.  Damned good to see him again!  We were also joined by Joe, one of Jody's friends and a friend of his, both of who live here in San Francisco.  There have been some suprise additions and I can't begin to give you an actual head count.  I do believe that we are more than 50.  I'm sure that the AMG Coordinator has a better count than I.

My sincerest wish is that AMG continues to grow with each coming year!
