I had an incident last week that i had some foreplays with one lady who's HIV status is unknown. We didn't had any penetrative sex. We just had closed mouth kissing and i licked and sucked her breast for 5 minutes. She was married long back but never had a baby. I didn't feel any taste of any secretions from her breast. But now i am thinking if she had any nipple discharge which i might had ingested. As she had 2 partners with whom she had condomless sex. Do you recommend any test or can i move on with my regular life?? Kindly advise me.
Jim Allen:
Read your post three times, what you posted here wasn't an HIV risk.
Here's what you need to know to reduce your HIV risks: Use condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse correctly and consistently, with no exceptions. Consider talking to your healthcare provider about PrEP as an additional layer of protection against HIV
Keep in mind that some sexual practices described as safe in terms of acquiring HIV still pose a risk for other easier-acquired STIs. So please do get tested at least yearly for STIs, including but not limited to HIV, and more frequently if condomless intercourse occurs.
Also, note that it is possible to have an STI and show no signs or symptoms; testing is the only way to know.
Kind regards
Jim
