Can HIV transmit like this ? pls help me
« on: April 28, 2013, 12:59:45 pm »
Dear  all
i have sex with my wife in the Hotel and using Hotel 's condom. The condom packet (cover bag of the condom) opened by someone but as i see, this condom is new and does not use before.
1. I am afraid someone opened the condom bag and take condom out. In this case, their secretion might come inside of the condom by some way. (ex : by hand or by penis) . Is there a chance of transmitting HIV through this scenario ?
2.Should I be tested for HIV?

My wife is worry too.
I hope this is only my Paranoea .
Really need your advice.
Thanks

There is no risk for HIV in the scenario you described. HIV is far too fragile a virus to remain viable outside the body.

"Many people, especially in the gay community, turn to oral sex as a safer alternative in the age of AIDS. And with HIV rates rising, people need to remember that oral sex is safer sex. It's a reasonable alternative."

You did NOT have a risk for HIV in this situation . HIV isn't contracted via secretions , you acquire HIV during unprotected penetrative vaginal or anal sex .

HIV is fragile and can not infect instantly after being exposed to oxygen .

thank so much, Mr. Jkinatl2 and Mr. Jeff G
Your advice make me feel better.
Sorry for my English, the secretions in my question means vagina or penis fluid.
according to your advice, i know that :
1. Hiv is fragile  and can NOT infect instantly after being exposed to oxygen.
2. even someone 's fluid (vagina or penis fluid) was inside the condom and this condom put back to bag ( this means that short time for fluid exposed to oxygen)  my wife and i are safe. We no need HIV Test.  Am i right?
Very sorry for stupid questions. Hope you sympathize for stress guy

Your English is very easy to read and I understand what you have written perfectly .  You are not going to get HIV in the manner you are concerned about , its impossible .

You would have known if that condom had been used before and even if it had been used by a person with HIV you still would not have been at risk . The next time you have sex with a condom try attempting to roll it back up and putting back in the wrapper , it would be extremely hard to do and you would be able to tell that somebody had done so .

dear all
This is my last free post and i just want to thank for what Mr.Jkinatl2 & Mr.Jeff G have done for me.
in fact, I totally believe their advices.
But could you please spare more time for me ?

According to Mr. Jeff G "HIV is fragile and can not infect instantly after being exposed to oxygen"
My question :
1. even vagina/penis fluid does NOT dry (because this fluid is in condom, so it's still wet), does Mr. Jeff G recommend about losing HIV 's infectiousness  still correct ?
2. as i read, some doctor said that any change in PH, Moisture or Temperature will kill HIV.
i think condom Environment does NOT suitable for HIV. Does HIV can survive in condom fluid ?

if you have time, please help me for 2 stupid questions. Thanks again
God Bless you.

Hi Loan , you are correct and your number 2 question answers your number one question , small changes in temperature and PH damage HIV instantly ,  rendering it unable to infect .

You simply could not in any stretch of the imagination have had a risk for HIV from a previously used condom ... and don't think you would have made the mistake and used one either , you would have known had it been used . Stop worrying about this , really .
