Ahh don't feel bad, I only have 6 teeth on my lower-jaw, so I have to wear a partial-lower-plate, and it attaches to those six teeth, it sucks, it moves, and every 5 yrs. I have to get another one made, cause
my jag-bone is crumbling like yours, it's old age I suppose, Hubby has a full set of dentures, so it's worse
for him and very costly to replace every 5 to 6 yrs. old age is a real bitch  ???

Sorry about the problems you're having, Theyer.  I had to have what was left of my teeth out in '89, due to rotten teeth from drug/alcohol abuse.  Some of my teeth had already been knocked out or had already rotted out.  I only have an upper denture, as they could never get the lower one right.

I hope they're able to do something for you.  Thinking about you.. :-*

Its just one more problem to have to deal with.  All of us have had some major hissy fits ( anxiety attacks, etc) over this shit.
Good luck.

I see nothing wrong with a temper tantrum, or whatever you want to call it, because at some point you just need to let the anger out. I think it's perfectly normal to have increased emotions where our health is concerned and if a temper tantrum makes you feel better... just make sure it's a good one.

just make sure it's a good one.

Personal history has taught me to exercise this aspect off my behaviour alone. But in theory I agree .

Yet again thanks everyone the replies are comforting in the way in which they reach out. Not in the fact that losing the teeth can be linked to differcult times.
Again thanks

Tonight out busy restaurant I took the dam things out , the food was too good to eat with roving old plate--nobody collapsed in horror.

Personally, Theyer, I have to use some of that good ol' denture glue to hold my upper plate in place.  I've never gotten a new plate since my original back in '89.  So if I don't wear the glue (I use Fixodent), they slip around.  Glad you enjoyed your meal, though! :-*

Hey Theyer,

That meal sounds quite delicious, glad to hear you didn't let your teeth problems get in the way of enjoying a good night out.

Hope you don't experience any more pain before the new plate arrives.

I know what you mean about Clapham, way too trendy now; I'll stick to my side of the river in Chelsea!

Take care,

Dear Emma

You poor poor thing having to suffer the mean streets off Chelsea, I moved to Clapham, Old Town , in 88 with my late partner ,after 5 wonderfull 1hellish year in Brixton/Camberwell.

Our second night, cozy in Clapham , returning Bar/Party folk could be heard passing by. Clear as a cockroach we hear

" Oh Bings your spilling the fucking Bolly "

That was the moment we realized this was not SE5.

Best wishes
