So these pills came faster than i thought 21st.. I just got them in the mail today im just thinking of a time to start taking them and what would be best for everyday.. I know i have to start them asap the sooner the better.. Now that they are in my hand... I feel such mixed emotions. I hope everything goes well! I go back to hear my results and talk to my doctor in december! And she doesnt want to see my VL so high it was just shy of 7600 so im hoping it improves.

When I got my pills I sat and looked at them for a while before taking them, hours not days. Thoughts of what have I done going through my head. After you start it will get easier to the point where it is second nature. Something vitally important but also almost irrelevant as there will probably be no I'll effect after you settle in with them.

Just pick a reasonable time that seems acceptable for now and start. Plenty of time to change it later if it doesn’t fit. The sooner the better. You’ll have to adjust the first few weeks but it’s manageable. Hold on there

PS: 7600 is an almost negligible VL, you should be UD very very soon. That’s good!

We would like to her that will be UD very very soon.
But..... first, must start taking ART.
Understand it is tough for some to start taking med, but it must start.

Hi,

Just a few thinks to think about when you start your medication. 

Your doctor and the pharmacist should have talked to you about the time of day to take your medication.  Depending on the type of medication it could be morning, night or with and without food.   

My suggestion is to call the pharmacy and see if they can give you a recommendation on the time of day and if you can eat with it. 

I take other Rx’s so I need to space some of mine out but after a week it was such an easy schedule to keep and made it work for my life. 

This is a manageable condition and the pill isn’t too bad.  Jus the honest with your doctors and let me know your thoughts, questions and anything that has happened after starting your medications.
