Hair Removal - OUCH!
« on: November 23, 2008, 10:30:47 am »
I went to Walmart yesterday to buy some things I needed and I came across this 'Nair MEN body cream' hair remover. I have some hair on my nipples and thought it would be great to use. The instructions are to leave cream on for 8 minutes and wipe off. I came home, tried it. I don't know what is in that cream but my nipples hurt! They are now super sensitive! I took a shower and the water hurt! I put on my shirt and it hurts! and to top it off it didn't remove any hair! So I'm walking around with pointy nipples!.....Yet, it's stimulating in an unusual way!  ;)

Just a story I'd thought I'd share.... ;D

Yeah, that did make me chuckle.  Obviuosly, your skin around the nipples is reacting to something in the Nair.  It'll go away.  I haven't used Nair since I was like 16.

I've used Nair for Men on my back and shoulders. It works pretty well, especially if you scrub with a luffa afterwards. People probably think you're experiencing a chill with those pointy nipples! If you think Nair is uncomfortable try waxing... ouch!

Hi Mark,

I once had this white cotton shirt, I really liked.  It was from International Male, had a tuxedo cut and looked really hot with a pair of distressed Levi's.  I wore it once with heavy starch on a date and since I could undress really fast, I did not wear a t shirt with it.  Talk about nipples hurting and all for the false major premise of being beautiful... You have all of my sympathy today.  What is that on the floor?  Well, ;D that is me rolling with laughter   ;D  Have the best day

Well, it's a good thing I didn't put the cream around my groin - that would've been awkward!

Awkward is not the word i would use. I naively put it on my balls and crack once. It burnt like hell after about 5 minutes. Never again.
If their is a next time, it will be a crack and sack wax for me. At least the pain should be short and sweet

Sorry about your nipple fiasco.  Those hair-burning creams also burn your skin, as you found out.  What's worse, though, is going to a cut rate Vietnamese "salon" and having them wax your back without trimming it first (or, apparently, cleaning the equipment).   Two years ago I did this and within a week had boils/acne on my back that not only looked disgusting, but hurt like hell.  This lasted for over a year.  BEWARE!!  KEEP THE HAIR!! Anyway, body hair is hot; back, shoulders, ass and all!  The more hair, the more testosterone surging through your veins, and that's almost always a good thing!
