Hi, I'm poorly educated when it comes to hiv risk due to the statistics on Google that are almost all different.
My situation was a low risk. I think....
I had insertive oral sex about a week ago.
While I didn't know the guys status. We perform oral sex on me. He later disclosed his hiv status that he was job positive and undetectable. I don't feel like I can fully trust that being the truth so I have major anxiety.
Was my risk to insertive oral a risk for me to go on pep.
In which I am on pep because the e.r. doctor said that their is still a risk.
I never ejaculated in his mouth. I have no stds

in terms of BJ's there hasn’t been a single documented case of HIV transmission to an insertive partner (the person being "sucked") and you will not be the first.
Getting your penis sucked is not a HIV risk, saliva is not infectious, it also contains over a dozen elements that neutralize HIV.
You had no HIV risk
Here's what you need to know in order to avoid hiv infection:
Use condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, correctly and consistently, every time, no exceptions.
Keep in mind that some sexual practices which may be described as ‘safe’ in terms of HIV transmission might still pose a risk for transmission of other STI's, so please do get fully tested regularly and at least yearly for all STI's including but not limited to HIV and test more frequently if unprotected intercourse occurs
Also note that it is possible to have an STI and show no signs or symptoms and the only way of knowing is by testing.

I don’t know if I can ask another question on this post sense no one was incline to answer. I had given oral sex to someone I have no familiarity with. It was just a random hook up. Their was no ejaculation in my mouth but it was unprotected oral sex. I found out recently that i had a heroes out break in the back of my throat and I wanted to see if I am at risk for contracting HIV. Please answer back,

Giving unprotected oral sex to a male is a theoretical risk, only is your mouth is full of open wounds (as in "meth mouth"). Of course, any theoretical risk would require that the person with whom the unprotected oral sex was performed upon be HIV-positive.
It is highly unlikely that you were infected by the HIV from the activity you have described, especially since there was no ejaculation.
However, any type of unprotected oral sex can expose one to other STD's/STI's.
