Title: General question
Post by: tommy246 on October 27, 2009, 03:18:04 pm
I am quite new to all this but regular reader of this section. There seems to be so much going on  in research and trials from different directions and my question is has it always been like this or are things moving forward alot faster now than before.

Hey Tommy,

Well by no means am I a researcher or anything like that. But, from what I have seen since I have been infected and what my doctor has told me we have come a long ways in the research of better medication for HIV. I think things will only get better as we continue to find better ways to treat this illness. All you have to do is look at this forum and you will find alot of exciting things that are going on. I really hope the therapeutic studies pan out to give us a break from medication. I pray for the next generation that we will be able to treat this illness and find a cure for people that are infected. Nothing is impossible, maybe not even for our generation. Chin up and live every day to the fullest.
