Tensed
« on: January 05, 2017, 01:36:52 am »
Hi,
So I made out with a girl few days back. We were slightly intoxicated but not so much. I do not know her and it was a one time thing.
1.We French kissed(deep)  and at one point I bit her lips which caused her to bleed. I have teeth problems and my tongue was bleeding that morning.
So can there be a risk from this?

2.Also, we were fingering each other. (anal and vaginal).
If any one of us had cuts then do I need to get tested?

I have slight headache and I am really tensed because of this. I hope you could provide me an answer as to if I need to get tested. Thank you.

Hi

Kissing is not a risk, and fingering is not either, there has simply never been a documented case of HIV transmission via fingering, you will not be the first.

Move on and as you are sexually active you should test at least yearly for STI's including but not limited to HIV.

Here's what you need to know in order to avoid hiv infection:
Use condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, correctly and consistently, every time, no exceptions.

Keep in mind that some sexual practices which may be described as ‘safe’ in terms of HIV transmission might still pose a risk for transmission of other STI's, so please do get fully tested regularly and at least yearly for all STI's including but not limited to HIV and test more frequently if unprotected intercourse occurs

Also note that it is possible to have an STI and show no signs or symptoms and the only way of knowing is by testing.

More information on HIV Basics, PEP, TaSP and Transmission can be found through the links in my signature to our POZ pages, this includes information on HIV Testing

Kind regards

Jim

So i had clear contact with her blood which was fresh as i just bit her. Also i am sure i had some cuts on my tongue and if not blood might have entered my body during our kissing act.
I am having Urinary tract Infection since a week and a slight headache and diziness. Can it be a related symptom? Do i need to get tested?
thank you.

Hi

Urinary tract Infection has nothing to do with HIV whatsoever, if your have Urinary tract Infection go treat it.

As for HIV look I did read your post the first time, it was not a risk.

Firstly saliva and mouth is hostile towards HIV and contains over a dozen elements that neutralize it,  and HIV has an outer protein/receptors that are needed to remain infectious and they corrodes in contact with air, so it can no longer infect.

Finally for this to be even slightly possible, it would require both parties to have deep gaping open cuts that are actively bleeding. You had a cut in the morning might seem fresh to you however you did not report blood pissing out of your face. In short HIV needs to be present for it to be a risk and than to transmit it needs an effective route, in sufficient amounts and it must also reach cells which are susceptible to infection. A small cut or hours old cut is not an example of a direct pathway to bloodstream.

Move on and as you are sexually active you should test at least yearly for STI's including but not limited to HIV.

Hi, so i was involved with a girl who had multiple sexual relations with other guys.
We french-kissed (deep) for about 10-15 mins and there was blood on my lips during the act.I remember wiping it off with the help of a tissue.
She also gave me a hickey and there was some blood in the neck area too due to skin damage.
Apart from that, i fingered her(both anal and vaginal) and there was contact from her vaginal fluid with my fingers. I did not notice if there were cuts or not.

So my whole scenario is-deep kissing(which involved blood),neck bite(which had blood too),and fingering risk.
Can you please tell me whether i need to get tested?

Firstly your questions have already been answered, you had no risk as HIV is not spread this way and this has been explained to you before.

Now I had to merge your posts, ill make it easy for you If you post outside this thread again or about this no risk and/or asked and answered questions again it will lead to a ban.

Move on with your life, we can not assist you here further.
